Company Drinks Team Day

Thu 27 February 2020
10am-4pm

385 Queens Road
New Cross
London SE14 5HD

Company Drinks is clearly a different type of company. We describe ourselves as a community enterprise. As way of making drinks for and with each other. A company where being in good company comes first. A possible commons. A community economy.

Throughout 2020 we want to reflect, refine and possibly reorganise.
Our first day and attempt was with guest Iain Chambers at the New Cross based The Field.

Iain Chambers started the day by introducing The Bevy, a community owned and community run in Brighton, to then look at how Company Drinks operates, what we want to achieve, and who is making decisions. Is our current model most suitable or simply most practical. Are we a charity, a company or a community asset? What’s the difference and who cares?
