Gleaning trip to a working fruit farm in Essex
The July Harvest Trip takes us to a fruit farm near Colchester. The farm grows blackcurrant
for Ribena and we are gleaning the 80 acres to make a delicious blackcurrant soft drink.
We are going to glean the large fields and the fruit is going to be turned into a special fizzy drink with Hackney based soda manufacturers Square Roots.
It’s an outdoor activity, so please bring appropriate clothing for the day.
Bring a packed lunch and we will provide the drinks!
