Windmill Hill/Cross La,
Wadhurst

If you and your family would like to get back outdoors, and get your hands juicy picking ingredients for delicious local products, which will be re-circulated back into the community, you can sign up to our new Families' Wild + Well Mailing List, where we will advertise these activities and coordinate according to the most up to date safety guidelines. If you're interested in hearing more, please email Alice on alice@companydrinks.info.

This summer we will again be heading outside for:

.

  • Berry Picking Trips to Maynards Farm, Ticehurst on the 19th July
  • Foraging Walks in local parks, at safe distance
  • Wild+Well Family Gardening Clubs in Barking Park, starting Friday 10th July
  • All in family groups [or bubbles*]

SAFETY REMINDERS

+ face coverings must be worn whilst travelling: the taxi may refuse to take you if you are not all wearing them

+ IMPORTANT email me by Thursday at the latest if you need us to provide you and your family with masks

+ keep a safe distance in the taxi, no one should sit on the front seat next to the driver, everyone should sit in the back together, wearing facemasks

WHAT TO BRING

  • To repeat…. We will be bringing hand sanitiser, gloves and masks with us, but we recommend you take your own safety measures, bringing any fabric masks, and some plastic bags for disposing of used safety equipment etc.
  • The weather looks great so far, but we suggest packing for all weather. Bring Suncream and plenty of water for your group
  • Bring Waterproofs in case we get showers – umbrellas also make great sun shades if you need!
  • Wear comfortable walking shoes as we’ll be walking around the farm on uneven paths
  • Please be sure to bring any medicines or medical equipment you’d need for a full day out
  • Please bring snacks to keep you going. Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions we won’t be able to have a large sit down picnic all together. So we’ll have to eat on the move and in the fields.
  • We’ll of course provide drinks!

SUMMARY – WHAT WE NEED TO KNOW FROM YOU:
