At Company Drinks we pick and make drinks, as much as we ask questions about what local food production means to us all..... We are hosting a communal lunch to enjoy local food and to unpack some of the politics behind its production. For our last Digesting Politics Lunch of 2019 we're *thrilled* to be joined by artist Sean Roy Parker. Join us for a back-to-back afternoon: With a special Food Surplus lunch prepared by Sean, followed by a "Waste" themed conversation, and hands-on workshop activities for desert....

Find out more about Sean Roy Parker and his work at his website.

Up until its recent closure, Sean has been running the Brixton Pound Cafe; a ‘Pay What You Can’ venue offering decent food; and a shared community space. Read more about the cafe here. Among other things, Sean will be talking to us about the ‘Pay What You Can’ concept, how it works, and whether or not we can bring similar ideas to Barking and Dagenham.

Digesting Politics Lunches are a Keep It Complex production, delivered by Company Drinks. Read more at their website.
