We're inviting our volunteers and partners to take part in an open meeting where we'll be asking you what you'd like to see from Company Drinks in the future.
2017 is an exciting year in which we will be:
- Taking on and refurbishing Barking Pavilion
- Developing our business potential
- Extending our board and supporters group
- Running a crowd funding campaign
That’s where we need your help.
Join us on 28th January in Barking to help us shape the future of Company Drinks.
The consultation process kicks off with an open meeting where we’ll be asking you what you’d like to see from us in the future. It’ll be a great opportunity to look back at a successful couple of years of ‘Going Picking’ and to plan the next steps for the project within the borough.
We are offering a tour of the Barking Pavilion at 1pm (Outdoor Bowls Pavilion and Green, Barking Park, Longbridge Road, Barking IG11 8TA)
Our plans, photos and visuals will be on display at Barking Learning Center from 1pm, with a presentation and group brainstorm session to take place at 2pm. There will be of course drinks afterwards.
This is an exciting year for Company Drinks. We have now run three successful picking and trading seasons, engaging more than 36,000 people across London. Over 2400 Barking and Dagenham residents of all ages have come with us on picking trips and walks, more than 1000 young people have been involved in making drinks, more than 24 monthly Hopping Afternoons have taken place, and our weekly volunteers session keep running at Park Centre.
