In preparation of our grape harvest in Sept, we're heading to Glenn's Farm in Essex to maintain and check the grape vines.
Contact us if you’re interested in joining. Meet 9.30am inside at Romford station, by the ticket office. Please note the train to Wickford leaves 9.56am so we have to be prompt! The return cab fare between station and farm is paid for by the project.
Please ensure you have TFL ticket (covers you to Shenfield and we can buy your onward return ticket between Shenfield -Wickford ) so please bring any discount railcards, if you have one.
The weather looks to be good so please bring water, sun protection and wear appropriate clothing ( the ground may still be muddy though).
Please bring a pack lunch.
We will spend most of the time tying up vines and will be out in the vineyard until apporox 2pm when we will prepare to leave. We are aiming to get the 14.51pm train back from Wickford and ETA back in Romford approx is 3.30pm
