Delivered in partnership with Vocational Support Services

Our garden has not been fully open since March, but we have been running one to one and small group sessions since earlier in the summer. . In October Shaun and the Grow Club volunteers will be preparing the garden for winter. As the days begin to shorten and we have less hours of light it is even more beneficial to spend time outside. So the group will be enjoying the seasonal change whilst tending to the garden. . Due to covid safety restrictions, these sessions are by registration only, so please get in touch with Shaun@companydrinks.info if you would like to attend and he will confirm if there are spaces. Watch this space or sign up to our newsletter for more opportunities over the winter.

Our main activities at the moment are:
– Weeding beds
– Mulching shrubs
– Working on our leaf mould collection
-Turning compost
– Relocating plants to places where they may be happier next season
– Spending time connecting with our senses
– Making the most of the light and shorter days
.
These sessions will look a little different to our usual sessions because everyone needs to bring a mask for use whilst working, and sadly we can’t offer any of our tasty herbal teas to share. However please do bring a flask and hot drink of your own to keep you warm as the weather changes. And be sure to check the weather and wear appropriate clothing.
.
If you would like to join, please contact shaun@companydrinks.info to check availability.
