We know how important accessing green space is to our wellbeing.
This week in the garden, we will be focusing on mindfulness and wellbeing, working at our own pace to feel a sense of ease and relaxation, connecting with nature and learning skills to keep the garden and ourselves nourished.
We will also be having our monthly shared meal after our growing session, please bring an item of food to share with the group, if you have not been to one of our induction days, please sign up to the next one to be able attend the next shared meal.
The Grow Club activities for June will be:
– Weeding beds
– Mulching shrubs
– Sowing seeds
– Turning compost
– Cultivating cuttings
– Spending time connecting with our senses
– Enjoying the gradually warmer days
– Watering raised beds
– Herbal learning
– Potting on seedlings
– Raised bed filling
– Sharing food and conversation
Please arrive on time for 11:00am as we will be doing a group check in and group introductions following this we will have a garden stretch and mindfulness
Bring some water for yourself but please bare in mind toilet usage is one in one out and be sure to check the weather and wear appropriate clothing.
