Every week in Barking Park, we're growing all new ingredients, learning gardening skills and helping to improve the biodiversity of Barking Park. This week we need not worry about the November chills as we will be getting busy inside the pavilion with labelling our delicious home-made bottles of cordials. For those who want some fresh air, we will be putting edging around one of our flower beds.
We are now running a weekly Growing Club every Friday from 10am-12pm.
Our main activities at the moment are:
– tending raised beds with edible herbs
– harvesting and processing herbs
– preparing a compost system
– root digging
– preparing wild flower areas
We’re having special seasonal events and celebrations, and once a month we sit together for a shared lunch after the growing session.

Friday 14th December from 1-2.30pm.
