We haven’t been able to do our usual picking walks over the course of this year, but we hope you have been able to enjoy some of our picking at a distance events like the Elderflower Lockdown Harvest or the socially distanced Family trips to Ticehurst Farm.
This month we will be going on our final foraging walk of the year and hope you can join us! We're running 3 x walks with groups in social/household bubbles, so please let us know if you'd like to come, and what time you prefer. 12noon, 1pm or 2pm.
We’ll meet at the gate on the corner of Holden Close and Stevens Road and we’ll walk in together.
We are going to brave the Autumn weather and head out to Goodmayes Park to pick
some very delicious and vitamin C
rosehips. These will be taken back to our kitchen in Barking Park and made into delicious cordials, locally picked and locally made.
So that we are able to pick safely, together, we will be reducing the usual group size so booking is essential. Please contact Cam on firstname.lastname@example.org
if you would like to enquire about reserving a space, we’ll offer spaces on a first come first serve basis.
Be sure to let us know how many people are in your family / bubble.
We’ll host separate walks at 12-1
pm and 2-3
Please let us know if you have a preference.
