The sweet violet, Viola Odorata is one of the early flowers to bloom in spring, its vibrant purple flower has an amazing floral aroma, you may have memories of eating Parma violets as a child, these flowers taste the same. . Come and join a spring harvesting walk with us as we collect these tiny but strong flowers to turn into a delicious violet syrup, we will also have a chance to taste some that has already been prepared as well as learn about other wild edibles that grow locally.

Its a short walk from the car park, we will be walking across grassy areas so please wear appropriate footwear, we will also go picking whatever the weather so do check before coming and wear weather-appropriate clothing.

The violet flowers grow low to the ground and will require bending down or kneeling to harvest.
