Company Drinks is going east for the day, to visit an exhibition and a artist run space in Southend on Sea.
We will travel by train to Southend Central and go to Focalpoint Gallery (https://www.fpg.org.uk) , which is only a 5 min walk from the station.
Their current exhibition is called “Tip of the Iceberg” (https://www.fpg.org.uk/exhibition/tip-of-the-iceberg/) and shows artwork that deal with plants, ecosystems and politics.
We will get a tour of the exhibition and stay for informal lunch. Afterwards we are planning to go to The Old Waterworks (https://www.theoldwaterworks.com) which is an artist run space with a growing space and other community programmes.
This trip is for everyone who is interested in community growing and/or community arts.

Friday 3rd December 9.45am outside Barking Station.
Return approx 4.30pm Barking Station.
Company Drinks will cover the rail fares, and we will travel on group tickets.
Please watch the weather on the day and dress accordingly, as we will be partly outdoors and walking between venues.
