Company Drinks began in March 2014 with ‘Hopping Afternoons’ – reminiscing sessions for east Londoners who used to go hop picking in Kent every year, right up until the 1950s. We still run these monthly meetings at Valance House in Dagenham. Mostly we explore hopping history, but we also talk about other local histories and sometimes we visit interesting places neaby.
