On Sunday March 13th 2022 Art From the Start are hosting a one-off workshop as part of Women’s Empowerment Month.

Art from the Start advances education in the fine arts to the community in Barking and Dagenham. It’s purpose is to inspire, develop, and build social cohesion through art.

Come and learn about women who have made a change and helped to raise awareness on climate change, adaptation and mitigation, and create your own art piece based on their stories. We will display different words based on the theme of gender equality and sustainability to inspire and evoke your creativity.

This activity will be open to women and girls of all ages.
